Valero Energy IoT Upgrades

Our team is currently working on an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) modernization project at Valero’s Benicia Refinery.

IC Engineering has been assisting Valero’s engineering team in replacing an older control system with modern controls that are compatible with their existing Honeywell TDC DSC system.

The collaboration between our teams has realized the vision of bringing PLC Programs and HMIs (Wonderware and Cimplicity) to operations that provide local operator access outside of the main control rooms.
